Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets out what you may not do with the AI Song Generator Studio and website, so the Service stays safe for artists, listeners and rights holders. It applies to everything you upload, generate, publish or share, and it forms part of our Terms of Service.

Last updated 21 October 2026

Section 01

1. No impersonation

Describing musical qualities, such as a genre, an era, instruments or a vocal style, is fine. Copying a real person's identity is not.

  • Don't name or imitate a real artist, band or public figure in prompts, titles, voice names or character names, for example 'in the style of' a named singer or a 'type beat' named after an artist. Our filter refuses these requests.
  • Don't present music as made, sung or endorsed by a real artist or public figure who didn't make or approve it.
  • Don't use a real person's name, image, logo or likeness in titles, artwork or metadata in a way that suggests they were involved.
  • Don't create deceptive audio or video of real people, such as fake statements, fake performances or fake endorsements, and don't create deepfakes, face swaps or images that undress anyone.

Section 02

2. Voices, faces and consent

Voices and faces are personal. These rules apply to custom singer voices, to photos you animate in music videos and to any upload that contains someone's voice or image.

  • Only create a custom singer voice from your own voice, or from a voice whose owner has given you documented permission for that use, and complete verification honestly.
  • Only animate a photo of a person, for example in a lip-sync or performance video, if the person is you or has given you permission, and confirm that consent in the Studio when asked.
  • Never use the voice or likeness of a public figure, and never use images or recordings of minors.
  • Don't upload recordings of a person's voice to clone or convert it without their consent, and stop using a voice or likeness if permission is withdrawn.

Section 03

3. Respect other people's rights

Changing the style, tempo or voice of someone else's song doesn't make it yours, and it doesn't make using it lawful.

  • Only upload audio, lyrics, images and video you own or are licensed to use for the transformation you request.
  • Don't upload commercial recordings to cover, extend, remix or mash up without permission from the rights holders. Uploads that match a recording removed for copyright are refused.
  • Don't use the Service to reproduce copyrighted lyrics, melodies or recordings, or to remove watermarks or rights information.
  • Don't publish other people's work as your own.

Section 04

4. Harmful content

Some content is never allowed, whether it stays private or is published.

  • No sexual content involving minors, in any form. We refuse it, close the account and report it to the authorities, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, as the law requires.
  • No sexual content about real people without their consent, no sexually explicit images or video, and no sexually explicit material in public areas of the Service.
  • No content that promotes violence, terrorism or violent extremism, or that threatens or harasses people.
  • No hateful content that attacks people for protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
  • No content that encourages self-harm or suicide.
  • No content that reveals private information about someone without permission, or that defames them.

Section 05

5. No spam or manipulation

AI makes it easy to produce music in volume. Using that to game platforms or listeners is not allowed.

  • Don't mass-produce near-identical tracks to flood streaming services, video platforms or our public pages.
  • Don't use the Service to arrange, sell or benefit from artificial streams, plays, likes or followers.
  • Don't use misleading titles, tags or metadata to attract listeners, and don't put links, email addresses or phone numbers in public titles or descriptions.
  • Don't send unsolicited promotional messages through the Service or abuse the referral program.

Section 06

6. Protect the Service

These rules keep the Service fair and available for everyone who pays for it.

  • Don't access the Service with bots, scrapers or other automated tools, except through features we provide for that purpose.
  • Don't try to bypass credits, rate limits, plan limits, payments, our content checks or other safety measures, for example by misspelling an artist's name to get around the filter.
  • Don't trigger failed generations on purpose to exploit automatic credit refunds, or request refunds in bad faith.
  • Don't probe, scan or test the Service for vulnerabilities without our permission; report security issues to us instead.
  • Don't reverse engineer, copy or resell the Service, share your account, or create new accounts to get around a suspension or a limit.

Section 07

7. Be honest about AI

When you publish or distribute music or video made with the Service, follow the AI-disclosure rules of the platforms, distributors, clients and laws that apply to you, and label realistic synthetic performances as AI-generated where required. Never claim that AI-generated material was performed by a real artist.

Section 08

8. How we check content

Some checks run automatically before anything is created, on our own servers. Prompts, titles, voice names and character descriptions that name or imitate real artists are refused, and so are requests for sexual content involving minors and, for images and video, sexual content and deepfakes. Uploaded images and videos are checked for adult content, which is refused; photos that show a person can be animated only after you confirm that it is you or that they agreed, and anything made from them is reviewed before it can be published. Uploaded audio that matches a recording removed for copyright is refused. A refused request is never charged, and content that an automated check flags is reviewed by our team before it can be published.

Automated checks make mistakes in both directions. If a request was refused wrongly, contact us and a person will review it; passing a check does not mean content is allowed, and you remain responsible for following this policy.

Section 09

9. Reporting problems

Use 'Report this track' on public track pages, or the report form on our Contact page. Reports can cover copyright, impersonation, hate or harassment, sexual content, violence, spam, privacy, fraud or anything else that breaks this policy. Copyright and other rights claims go through the claim form on our Copyright Policy page. If something involves an immediate risk to someone's safety, contact local emergency services first.

Section 10

10. Enforcement and appeals

We review content and activity to enforce this policy, using automated signals and human review. Depending on how serious and how repeated a problem is, we may refuse requests, warn you, remove or unpublish content, send your future publications to review first, limit features, suspend your account or close it. Serious violations, such as sexual content involving minors, lead to immediate closure.

We tell you what action we took and why, unless the law or safety reasons prevent it. If you think we got it wrong, reply to our notice or contact us within six months, and a member of our team will review the decision.

FAQ

Common questions

Can I make music in the style of a famous artist?
You can describe musical qualities such as genre, era, instruments and vocal style. You can't name or imitate a specific real artist, and our filter refuses prompts that do.
Can I use my own voice or photo?
Yes. You can create a custom singer voice from your own voice after verification, and animate photos of yourself or of people who agreed, once you confirm consent in the Studio.
Can I upload a song I don't own to remix it?
Only with permission from its rights holders. Changing the style doesn't remove their rights.
Is explicit language allowed in lyrics?
Strong language is allowed as long as the content doesn't break the rules above. Sexually explicit material can't be published in public areas of the Service.
My prompt was refused but it does not name an artist. What now?
Some band names are also ordinary words, so the filter can be wrong. Contact us with the prompt and we will review it, and add an exception if the refusal was a mistake.
What happens if I break this policy?
Depending on severity, we may refuse requests, remove content, limit features, or suspend or close your account. You can ask us to review any decision.
