AI Music Video Generator

The AI Song Generator AI music video generator turns your song into a sequence of generated scenes, planned in a storyboard you approve and cut on the bars, section changes and drops of the track. Your original recording stays the soundtrack from the first frame to the last.

See it in action

Short samples made with AI Song Generator from one of our own songs and a fictional character. Turn the sound on to hear how they follow the music.

  • A storyboard of AI scenes cut on the bars of the song, with one consistent character.

  • Cinematic quality: the most detailed scenes, 4–8 second clips.

  • Fast quality: quick, affordable drafts.

  • Moving stills: one image per scene with a slow camera move, the budget option.

Steps

How it works

  1. Choose the song

Pick a track from your library or upload an MP3, WAV or M4A file you have the rights to use.

  2. Let it listen

The song is analysed for tempo, beats, bars, sections, energy and lyric timing before any visuals are planned.

  3. Approve the storyboard

Read the treatment and the shot list, edit any scene, and confirm the estimate. Nothing is charged before this point.

  4. Generate the scenes

Each scene becomes a short AI clip. A scene that fails is refunded and can be run again at no extra charge.

  5. Edit and export

Reorder scenes, set transitions, trim, add lyrics, then export for the platforms you post on.

A storyboard before anything is spent

Every project starts with a written plan rather than a gamble on one long render. From your concept and the analysis of the song, the generator writes a short treatment (the story, the look, the recurring motifs) and one shot description per scene: what the camera sees, how it moves and who is in frame.

You can rewrite any shot, change the concept and ask for a new draft. Generation only starts after you approve a storyboard version and confirm the credit estimate shown next to it, so you always know what a video will cost before the first clip is made.

Cuts that follow the music

The scene plan is built from the structure of your track, not from a fixed timer. Cuts land on section boundaries and drops first, then on bar lines close to the length each shot needs. A quiet intro is planned with slow, wide shots; a loud chorus gets dynamic camera movement.

Each scene is a clip of roughly three to fifteen seconds, and the renderer trims it to the exact musical length. The generated clips carry no sound of their own: your original master is laid under the finished cut, so the audio is exactly what you released or uploaded.

Quality profiles

You choose one profile per project. It decides which video model renders the scenes and how much each scene costs.

  • Fast: quick drafts and simple scenes when you want to test an idea
  • Pro: the balanced default for most music videos
  • Cinematic: richer lighting and camera work for a polished release
  • Character: up to three recurring characters, each defined by two to four reference images
  • Performance (beta): a character image sings the vocal of your track
  • Experimental: newer models that can surprise you, with less predictable results

Keeping characters recognisable

Story videos fall apart when the lead changes face from shot to shot. Each project keeps a short character description that is added to every scene featuring that person, and the Character profile also uses your reference images. This keeps faces, hair and clothing far more consistent than prompts alone, although small differences between scenes can still appear. Only upload images of people who have agreed to appear in your video.

Finishing and formats

The editor lets you reorder scenes, choose a transition for each cut and trim the edges. Lyric overlays come in fourteen styles, from minimal to neon and cyberpunk, timed to the song. Export presets cover vertical video for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, widescreen for YouTube, square and portrait posts for Instagram, and a short Spotify Canvas loop. Every export comes with three thumbnail options.

How the cost is worked out

The Studio is paid only. A music video is priced per scene, and each scene costs more or less depending on the quality profile and the clip length, so a short vertical video on Fast costs far less than a full song on Cinematic. The total appears on the storyboard before you confirm, and a scene that fails is returned to your balance automatically.

What you get

  • MP4 with your original song as the soundtrack
  • 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5 export presets
  • Spotify Canvas loop up to eight seconds
  • Three thumbnails per export

Prompts

Example prompts

Starting points you can paste into Create and adjust. Specific details — tempo, instruments, mood, structure — give the most control.

  1. Neon city synthwave

A courier with short black hair rides through a rain-soaked neon city at night, reflections everywhere, slow tracking shots in the verses and fast street-level cuts on the chorus

    StyleCinematic, cyberpunk palette, volumetric fog

One recurring lead plus a clear verse/chorus rule gives the storyboard something to follow.

  2. Desert road ballad

Golden-hour drive across a North African desert, an old radio on the dashboard, wide landscape shots that get closer and warmer as the song builds

StylePro, warm film grain, natural light

Describing how the shots change over the song helps the plan use the structure.

  3. Afrobeats rooftop

Friends dancing loosely on a Lagos rooftop at dusk, string lights, handheld camera, the city skyline appearing on every drop

    StylePro, vivid color, handheld energy

Tie a visual to the drops and the cuts will land on them.

  4. Dream-pop memory

Soft-focus memories of a summer by the sea, polaroid colors, slow motion waves, a single figure seen from behind

StyleFast for a first draft, then Cinematic

Draft on a cheaper profile, then render the approved storyboard on a richer one.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to make the song with AI Song Generator?
No. You can pick a track from your library or upload an MP3, WAV or M4A file of a song you have the rights to use.
How do I make a music video with AI?
Pick a song from your library or upload one you have the rights to, and the track is analysed for tempo, sections and lyric timing. Describe a concept, then read and edit the storyboard: a short treatment plus one shot per scene. After you approve it and the cost estimate, each scene is generated as its own short clip and cut on the bars and section changes, so one failed scene never ruins the video: it is refunded and can be run again, and finished scenes are kept. Without AI the plan is the same: storyboard first, then shoot or gather footage and cut it to the music.
Which service makes the best AI music videos for YouTube?
It depends on the video you need, and we make one of the options, so test rather than trust anyone's ranking. For a story video, compare how well characters stay consistent across scenes, whether cuts follow the music, and whether your original audio is kept untouched. For YouTube, check for a 16:9 export for the main video and 9:16 for Shorts, clear terms on using the result, and a cost shown before you render. A short draft on a fast, low-cost profile tells you more than any startup's showreel.
Can I keep the same character in every scene?
Yes, with the Character profile: up to three characters, each built from two to four reference images. Consistency is much better than with prompts alone, though not pixel perfect.
Will the video use my original audio?
Always. Generated clips have no soundtrack of their own; the export uses your song exactly as it was in your library or upload.
Is there a version that costs nothing?
No. The Studio is paid only and music videos are priced per scene. The estimate is shown before you approve the storyboard.
