AI music extender: continue a track from where you choose

The AI Song Generator music extender continues a track from a point you choose, generating new music that follows on from it. Use it on tracks in your library or on audio you upload and own, to add a section, a longer ending or more running time.

Steps

How it works

  1. Pick the track

A track from your library, or an upload you own and confirm the rights to.

  2. Set the point

Choose the moment where the new music should begin.

  3. Describe the new part

Add lyrics, keep or change the style, or set it to instrumental.

  4. Listen to the join

Check the transition, then extend again if you need more.

Choosing where to continue

Pick the moment where the new part should begin. A clean starting point makes a clean join: the end of a phrase, the start of a chorus, a stretch where the arrangement is steady. Avoid starting in the middle of a word or a drum fill, where the continuation has to pick up something half-finished.

Telling it what comes next

Reuse the original style line to keep the sound consistent, or change it to steer the new part somewhere else, such as "breakdown, then the full band returns".

  • Lyrics for the new part, such as a third verse or a final chorus
  • A style line, kept the same or changed on purpose
  • Instrumental, to continue without vocals
  • A title, if the extended version should be named differently

Building longer tracks step by step

Each extension is saved as a new version, and you can extend that version again. Background music for a long video, an extended mix or a song with an added bridge can all be built one step at a time, listening to each join before adding the next.

Extending audio you made elsewhere

Upload a recording you own (an MP3 or WAV of your song, a beat or a demo) and extend it the same way. You confirm your rights to the audio before it is processed. The continuation follows the uploaded material, so a clean, well-mixed source gives a better result than a noisy phone recording.

Extend, or generate a longer track?

If you know the length you need before you start, set it in Custom mode, up to 6 minutes. Extend when you already have a track you like and need more of it, or when you want control over what happens after one specific moment.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I extend an MP3 I already have?
Yes, if you own it or have permission. Upload it, confirm your rights, choose the point to continue from and describe the new part.
How much longer does each extension make a track?
There is no length setting for extensions; each one adds a new stretch of music. Extend again from the new version if you need more.
Will the extension sound like the original?
It follows on from the source and works best when you keep the same style line. If the join jumps, try again from a cleaner point.
Can I add lyrics to the extension?
Yes. Supply lyrics for the new part, or set the extension to instrumental.
Does extending change my original?
No. Every extension is saved as a new version, and the original remains available.
Can I continue from the middle of a song?
Yes. Choose any point and the new music picks up from there. This is a quick way to try a different second half or a new ending while keeping the opening you like.
