Refund and Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your AI Song Generator subscription online at any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you can get a full refund within 14 days of a payment if you have not used any credits from it. This policy explains how cancellation works, when we refund payments and how credits for failed generations are returned.
Section 01
1. How to cancel
Go to Settings > Billing in the Studio and choose Cancel subscription. You do not need to call or chat with anyone. We ask for an optional reason, and we may show a one-time offer, such as a discount on your next payments; you can decline it in one step and continue to cancel. Before you confirm, we show the date your access ends and what happens to your credits, and we send a confirmation by email afterwards.
If you cannot use the Studio, email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to cancel; a cancellation request we receive before your renewal date stops that renewal.
Section 02
2. What happens when you cancel
Cancelling stops all future renewals. It does not end your access early.
- You keep full access, including your remaining subscription credits, until the end of the current billing period.
- On an annual plan, you keep access until the end of the annual term, and your monthly credit refreshes continue until then.
- When the subscription ends, unused subscription credits expire, and you can no longer generate or use paid tools.
- Top-up credits stay on your account while it exists, and you can use them again if you resubscribe.
- Your library is not deleted. You can still sign in, play and download what you already made, and your rights in tracks made while you were subscribed continue.
- You can resubscribe at any time.
Section 03
3. Full refund within 14 days if credits are unused
You can ask for a full refund of a payment within 14 days of the charge if you have not used any Studio credits from it. This applies to:
- The first payment of a new subscription, as long as no Studio credits have been used since you subscribed.
- A renewal payment, weekly, monthly or annual, as long as no Studio credits have been used since that renewal. This is the right choice if you forgot to cancel.
- A top-up, as long as none of the credits from that top-up pack have been used.
Section 04
4. How the 14-day refund works
A few rules keep the refund fair and simple.
- A refunded subscription payment also ends the subscription straight away, and the credits it granted are removed from your balance. A refunded top-up removes the credits of that pack.
- Credits count as used when a request that uses them is delivered. Credits returned automatically for a failed request do not count as used.
- After 14 days, or once credits from the payment have been used, a payment is not refundable, except in the cases in section 5 or where the law gives you a right to a refund.
- We may decline repeated refund requests that look like an attempt to use the Studio for free, and refunds are not available for payments that are already the subject of a chargeback.
Section 05
5. Other refunds we always make
Separately from the 14-day window, we refund:
- Billing errors: duplicate charges, charges made after a cancellation took effect, and other charges made in error.
- Service problems: if a significant outage or defect stops you from using the Studio for a substantial part of a billing period, contact us and we will offer a fair remedy, such as a partial refund or extra credits.
- Account closure without cause: if we close your account without a reason under the Terms, we refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription.
- Plan reductions: if we significantly reduce what your plan includes and you cancel because of it, we refund the unused part of a prepaid period where the law requires.
Section 06
6. Your statutory rights in the EU, EEA and UK
If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you have a legal right to withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of buying it without giving a reason. When you subscribe, you ask us to start the service straight away. If you then withdraw within the 14 days, we refund your payment minus a proportionate amount for the service provided until you told us you were withdrawing, which takes into account the Studio credits you used; if you used none, you get a full refund under section 3.
For a top-up, you agree when you buy it that the credits are made available immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once you start using them. Until you use them, you can withdraw and get a full refund.
To withdraw, email [email protected] with a clear statement that you are withdrawing from the contract, or use the cancellation option and tell us you are withdrawing. These rights apply in addition to this policy and are not limited by it.
Section 07
7. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the date of the payment or the invoice number. We usually reply within two business days. Approved refunds are issued by we, through Stripe, to your original payment method, usually within five to ten business days depending on your bank. Byte Nimble Inc. sells the Studio subscriptions and top-ups. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe, which collects and stores your card details; we never see or store your full card number.
Section 08
8. Automatic credit refunds for failed generations
When you start a request, we reserve the credits it needs, and you are charged only for work that is delivered.
- If a request is refused by our content checks or rejected before work starts, or fails at our AI provider, all reserved credits are returned automatically.
- If a request delivers only part of what it should, for example one of two expected versions, you are charged only for the part delivered, rounded in your favor.
- If generation succeeds but saving the files fails, we retry automatically before refunding, so you usually get your result rather than a refund.
- Refunds for failed generations are made in credits, not money, and appear in your usage history.
Section 09
9. How Studio credits work
Studio credits pay for generations and other Studio actions. The cost of each action is shown before you confirm it.
- The weekly plan includes a weekly allowance of subscription credits. Monthly plans include a monthly allowance. Annual plans also receive their credits monthly, not all at once.
- Subscription credits refresh at the start of each credit period and do not roll over; unused ones expire at the end of the period.
- Top-up credits are available to active subscribers. They do not expire while your account exists, and they are used after your subscription credits.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, except where the law requires.
Section 10
10. Upgrades, downgrades and price changes
You can change plans in Settings > Billing at any time. Weekly subscribers cancel the weekly plan and then choose a new plan.
- Upgrades take effect immediately, and the difference in credits is added for the rest of the current period. Any amount due is shown before you confirm.
- Downgrades take effect at your next renewal, so you keep your current plan until then.
- Tools vary by plan. An upgrade unlocks the higher plan tools straight away; when a downgrade takes effect, those tools stop being available for new work, and everything you already made stays in your library.
- We tell you at least 30 days before a price increase applies to your plan, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Section 11
11. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we email you and the charge may be retried. You can keep using the Studio during a short grace period. If the payment still has not gone through after that, generation is paused until you update your payment method, and if the subscription ends, subscription credits expire as described above.
Section 12
12. Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us before disputing it with your bank: under this policy we can usually refund you faster than a dispute takes. While a payment dispute is open, we may pause paid features on the account, and credits bought with a reversed payment are removed.
