Free AI music video generator

There is no free AI music video demo on this page yet, because the open models we checked need far more GPU time than a free visitor gets, send your uploads to a paid cloud service, or carry license limits. You can still make a simple music video for free, and the paid Studio turns finished tracks into visualizer, lyric and AI music videos.

Free demo

The free demo is temporarily unavailable. You can still read how it works below, or try the full Studio.

Third-party, open-model demo

This free demo is hosted on Hugging Face Spaces and runs an open model. It is not part of the AI Song Generator Studio, it does not use Studio credits, and its usage limits are set by Hugging Face.

Steps

How to use it

  1. Pick a format

Choose between a lyric video, a still image with an animated waveform, a looping clip, or footage you film yourself.

  2. Prepare the audio

Export your song as a high-quality file and note where each section starts, so cuts can land on the beat.

  3. Use a free video editor

Most free editors can place text, images and clips on a timeline and export an MP4. Look for an audio-reactive or waveform effect if you want motion without filming.

  4. Time the words

For a lyric video, add each line as it is sung. Short lines on screen are easier to read on a phone.

  5. Export for the platform

Use a vertical frame for short-form apps and a horizontal frame for long-form video sites.

Why there's no free demo on this page

Generating video takes far more computing power than generating audio. The open audio-to-video models we reviewed either reserve more GPU time per run than Hugging Face gives an anonymous visitor in a whole day, act as a thin front end to a paid cloud service that receives your image and audio, or come with license terms that exclude some regions or larger businesses. Some also animate a face to lip-sync, which raises consent issues when the face belongs to a real person. We will add a demo only when one is stable, licensed and safe to embed.

What people mean by an AI music video

The phrase covers several very different products, and they differ hugely in cost and reliability.

  • Visualizer: abstract or styled motion that reacts to the audio. The cheapest and most reliable kind to generate.
  • Lyric video: the words appear in time with the song, often over a background image or loop.
  • Performance video: a still portrait is animated to sing along. Only animate faces you have permission to use.
  • Cinematic video: a sequence of generated scenes that follows the story of the song. The most expensive kind, which needs scene planning, many generations and editing.

Making a free video look intentional

Pick one visual idea and commit to it. A single strong image with slow movement often looks better than a fast collage of unrelated clips. Match your edits to the song's sections rather than to every beat, keep text inside the safe area of the frame, and watch the video on a phone before you post it.

Music videos in the paid AI Song Generator Studio

The AI Song Generator Studio is paid only, and its video tools work on tracks in your library. From the Creator plan it renders audio-reactive visualizers, lyric videos with words timed to the vocal, and cover-art videos in-house, without spending AI credits. These don't generate scenes, characters or a storyline.

From the Pro plan, the Studio also makes scene-by-scene AI music videos: the song is analysed, a storyboard is written for you to approve before any credits are spent, and each generated scene is cut on the structure of the track. The Studio plan adds cinematic video models, lip-sync performance videos and 1080p scenes. Every scene shows its credit cost before you confirm.

Prompts

Prompts to try

Starting points you can paste into Create and adjust. Specific details — tempo, instruments, mood, structure — give the most control.

  1. Night-drive visualizer brief

Synthwave track at 100 BPM. Visual: neon grid horizon, slow forward motion, a color shift on each chorus, no text

One motion idea and one color rule keep a free edit coherent.

  2. Acoustic lyric video brief

Folk ballad. Visual: a single photo of a window at dusk, slow zoom, handwritten-style lyrics appearing line by line

Slow movement under readable lyrics suits quiet songs.

  3. Short-form hook clip

A 15-second vertical clip of the chorus. Visual: bold lyric captions and beat-synced cuts between three abstract textures

Short clips should start on the hook.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free AI music video generator on this page?
No. None of the open models we checked was stable, affordable to run for free and licensed for embedding on a commercial site, so we don't offer one. This page explains free ways to make a video instead.
Can I make a music video from an MP3 for free?
Yes. A free video editor can combine your MP3 with an image, a looping clip or animated lyrics and export an MP4. It takes some manual work, but it costs nothing.
Does the AI Song Generator Studio make full AI music videos?
Yes, from the Pro plan. Storyboarded, scene-by-scene AI music videos are made from tracks in your library and cost credits per scene, shown before you confirm. Visualizers and lyric videos are available from the Creator plan.
Can I animate a photo of a real person singing my song?
Only with that person's permission. Animating someone's face without consent can violate their rights and many platforms' rules, and our Acceptable Use Policy forbids impersonation.
What video format should I export?
MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio plays almost everywhere. Use a 9:16 frame for short-form vertical apps and 16:9 for standard video platforms.
How can I make an AI music video for free?
Not with a demo on this page, because none is available yet. The workable free route mixes AI and editing: create or choose a still image you have the rights to, put it on a timeline with your MP3 in a free video editor, add slow zooms, cuts at section changes and timed lyrics, then export an MP4. Some AI video services offer small free allowances, but limits and usage rights change, so read their terms first. The paid AI Song Generator Studio makes visualizer and lyric videos from tracks in your library, and AI music videos from the Pro plan.
