AI audio generator: what you can create and in which format
AI Song Generator is an AI audio generator built around music: songs with vocals, instrumentals, background beds and cinematic cues, delivered as MP3, WAV, stems or a visualizer video. It also makes short sounds and loops on the Creator plan, but it does not generate speech.
Steps
How it works
Decide the job
A song, a bed under narration, a cue for a scene, or stems for an editor. The job decides the tool and the export format.
Generate with the right settings
Use Custom mode for an exact length, Instrumental for anything under speech, and exclude styles for elements you do not want.
Export the format you need
Download MP3, convert to WAV, split stems or render a visualizer video from the track page.
Keep versions together
Edits and exports stay grouped under one track, so you can return to any earlier version later.
Audio you can generate today
Everything in the Studio starts from music generation, then branches into files that suit different jobs. A single track can end up as a full mix for a playlist, an instrumental under a video and a set of stems for an editor.
- Songs with lyrics and a lead vocal
- Instrumentals across genres, from a solo piano bed to a full band arrangement
- Background music sized to a video, with the length set in Custom mode
- Cinematic cues and soundtrack sketches for scenes and trailers
- Vocal-only and instrumental-only stems split from any track in your library
- Multi-stem splits for drums, bass, guitar, keys and other parts
- Short sound effects, one-shots and loops from a text description (Creator plan and up)
What it does not do
Search results for "AI audio generator" mix very different products, so it helps to be precise. AI Song Generator does not do text-to-speech, voiceover, podcast narration or voice cloning of real people, and it does not repair noisy recordings. It also does not master your tracks: WAV export converts a file to an uncompressed format, it does not change how it sounds.
Short sounds are a separate tool rather than a gap: from the Creator plan, the sound generator makes effects, one-shots and loopable phrases from a text description, with an optional tempo and key. For longer atmosphere under a scene, the instrumental generator still produces drones, pads and other textural pieces.
Choosing a format
Pick the format by what happens to the audio next. Files that will be edited or distributed benefit from WAV; files that will be shared or previewed are fine as MP3.
- MP3: every version, ready to preview, share or drop into a rough edit.
- WAV: an uncompressed export that video software, DAWs and distributors handle well.
- Stems (MP3): separated parts for remixing, karaoke or rebalancing a mix.
- MP4 visualizer: the track with moving visuals, for platforms that only accept video.
- MIDI: note data from one separated stem at a time, on the Pro plan.
Getting audio that fits a project
Length and density are what projects care about most. In Custom mode you set the duration from 10 seconds to 6 minutes. Exclude styles removes what would get in the way: vocals under dialogue, heavy drums under a calm tutorial, bright leads that compete with a narrator.
For a long bed, generate a strong piece of two or three minutes and extend it, rather than asking for the maximum length at once. You keep control over where the music changes.
Working with audio you already have
Uploads open a second set of tools. Upload a recording you own and you can extend it, restyle it as a cover, put a vocal on an instrumental, build accompaniment under a vocal, or blend two sources into a mashup. Each upload asks you to confirm you have the rights to use it.
Stem splitting and the vocal remover currently work on tracks created in your AI Song Generator library, not on songs uploaded from elsewhere.
What to expect from the sound
Generated audio arrives mixed and ready to play, at a level suited to previews, social video and demos. For releases, many creators export WAV and then mix or master in their own tools. Results vary between versions, so audition each one on headphones and on a phone speaker before choosing.
What you get
- MP3 of every version
- WAV export
- Stem MP3s (vocal and instrumental, or multi-stem)
